More than 5,000 people are expected to gather at the Family Festival hosted by Councilmember Mitchell Englander on Saturday June 11, 2016 to kick off the Summer with a packed lineup of entertainment, free attractions, live performances for kids, and interactive activities for the entire family.
The festival will take place at Holleigh Bernson Memorial Park and community members will have the opportunity to spend an afternoon with family and friends while enjoying live music by 70’s band Skin Deep followed by 80’s rock band Fast Times on the main stage. There will also be a kid’s stage with live performances by Reptacular Animal Show, Feary Hunt, and Hoop It Up! Other activities will be featured throughout the park including Create Lab arts and crafts pavilion, face painting, balloon artists, giant slides, zip line, rock wall climbing, bungee jumping, obstacle courses, and a giant petting zoo.
The festival will have a beer garden and some of L.As top gourmet food trucks ready to serve the community, including Grilled Cheese Food Truck, LA Cake, La Panini Grill, The Surfer Taco, Slamin’ Sliders, Potato Tornado, Kona Ice, and more. Check us out on Facebook!
