Before – During – After

Mark Your Calendar Thursday, February 1st, 2018 Granada Hills Emergency Plan.

We are all aware of the possibility of earthquakes, but did you know that the San Andreas Fault is responsible for a major earthquake every 150 years? We are now 150 years overdue.

Needless to say, we live in uncertain times. In addition to earthquakes we need to be concerned with an ever more increasing number of tornadoes in California, fires, the threat of terrorism, global warming, and even North Korea to mention a few.

The Neighborhood Council Emergency Preparedness Alliance (NCEPA) tells us that during a major catastrophe we will be on our own for anywhere between 7 to 21 days or even longer. Our emergency responders (LAPD, LAFD) do not have the resources to take care of all of us during a major catastrophe. The Granada Hills Emergency Plan is dedicated keep you and your loved ones as safe as possible.

To spearhead this endeavor we will be offering C.E.R.T. classes to our community. Do you know who should take and who will benefit from taking C.E.R.T classes?  ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE! GHSNC will give all C.E.R.T graduates an emergency kit of their very own; FREE

Our Granada Hills Emergency Plan Event will be held on February 1st, 2018 at

6:00- 8:45pm at Granada Hills Charter High School, located at 10535 Zelzah St. in Rawley Hall.
