Would you like to participate in a mass care drill and experience a spontaneous shelter operation in action? The City’s Emergency Management Department is looking for actors/volunteers to role-play citizens seeking shelter for an emergency response drill at the Northridge Recreation Center on December 9 from 7:30 am to 1 pm.

Show off your acting skills! See a spontaneous shelter operation in action! Bring along your friends, family, grandparents, kids, and service animals (sorry, no pets)! Bring easy-to-carry “pop up” tents or shade structures to simulate camping in the park.

We will provide scripts explaining who you’ll be portraying and answers to all the questions that may be asked.
