Celebrate Community and Service in Granada Hills this Spring

Granada Hills has two special events this spring that bring our neighborhood together through history, art, and service. Mark your calendars for the Centennial Mural Dedication Ceremony on April 26, 2025, and the VFW Day of Service on May 3, 2025.


Granada Hills Centennial Mural Dedication – April 26, 2025

Celebrate the unveiling of the Granada Hills Centennial 100 Historical Wall Mural, a tribute to the people and moments that shaped our community.

  • Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025

  • Time: 12:00 Noon

  • Location: Frontier Communications Building, 10684 Encino Ave (SW corner of Encino Ave & Chatsworth St), Granada Hills, CA 91344

  • Keynote Speaker: L.A. City Councilmember John Lee

  • Reception & BBQ: Immediately following at All American VFW Post 2323, 17522 Chatsworth Street

This mural celebrates the identity and history of Granada Hills. The dedication is hosted by the Old Granada Village Business Improvement District.

VFW Day of Service – May 3, 2025

Join veterans and neighbors for a day of action and community cleanup as part of the national VFW Day of Service.

Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM: Meet-and-greet with pastries and coffee at Veterans Park

  • Community Clean-Up: Help beautify Veterans Park

  • 11:30 AM: BBQ Celebration with hot dogs, cold drinks, and good vibes

Why Participate?

  • Show support for veteran-led service

  • Meet fellow residents and connect through purpose

  • Everyone is welcome — you do not need to be a veteran to join
